Terms of Service

By accessing or using Dubs.so - including the website, dashboard, and all related services - you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use Dubs.so.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and Dubs.so. If you are using Dubs.so on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Dubs.so is a SaaS platform that automatically translates and dubs your YouTube videos into other languages and publishes them to dedicated language channels. It provides AI dubbing, automatic publishing, media library management, connected YouTube account management, channel analytics, team access, subscription billing, and related tools for content creators and businesses.

Dubs.so is an independent platform and is not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Google LLC or YouTube LLC.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorised by you.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@dubs.so if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that we believe provide false information or violate these Terms.

You may connect your YouTube account to Dubs.so through Google OAuth. By doing so:

• You authorise Dubs.so to access the data and permissions you grant through the OAuth consent flow.
• You confirm that you have the right to connect and manage any YouTube channel you add to Dubs.so.
• You understand that Dubs.so may use your connected channels to create dubbed versions of your videos and upload and manage them on your behalf.
• You understand that Dubs.so may lose access to your channels if you revoke permissions, if Google changes access controls, or if the connected account becomes restricted.

Dubs.so is not responsible for YouTube account penalties, demonetization, content takedowns, community strikes, channel suspensions, YouTube API limits, or any enforcement actions taken by YouTube or Google arising from your content, your activity, or how you use Dubs.so.

You can disconnect your YouTube account from Dubs.so at any time via your account settings, or by revoking Dubs.so's access from your Google Account permissions page.

You must not use Dubs.so to:

• Engage in any activity that is illegal under Australian or applicable international law
• Upload, dub, or publish content that you do not have the rights to use, including copyrighted material
• Violate YouTube's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or monetization policies
• Spam, mislead, impersonate, or abuse any platform, user, or third party
• Attempt to bypass YouTube rules, API limits, enforcement mechanisms, or security measures
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attack any part of the Dubs.so platform
• Interfere with or disrupt Dubs.so infrastructure or other users
• Share or resell account access without authorisation
• Distribute malware, scams, phishing content, or any harmful material
• Use Dubs.so in a way that could damage Dubs.so's relationship with Google, YouTube, or any other provider

You retain full ownership of all content, videos, images, audio, and other media you upload to Dubs.so ("Your Content").

By uploading content to Dubs.so, you grant Dubs.so a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, schedule, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Dubs.so service to you.

You are solely responsible for Your Content, including ensuring you hold all necessary copyright, licensing, and permission rights, and that your content complies with applicable laws and platform policies.

Dubs.so reserves the right to remove, restrict, or suspend access to any content or account if we reasonably believe the content is illegal, abusive, infringing, or in violation of platform policies - without prior notice where urgency requires it.

• Dubs.so may offer free and paid subscription plans.
• By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees shown at the time of checkout.
• Billing may occur on a monthly or yearly basis depending on your selected plan.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers, such as Commas or Whop. Their terms and privacy policies apply to payment transactions.
• Failed or declined payments may result in immediate suspension or cancellation of your subscription.
• Dubs.so reserves the right to change plan pricing and features. We will provide reasonable notice of significant price changes.
• Applicable taxes (such as GST) may be added to your subscription price depending on your location.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing settings. Cancelling your subscription stops future billing. Your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund of past payments.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Where a refund is not provided by default, we will consider your request and any applicable consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Plans may include limits on the number of language channels, hours of dubbing per month, connected YouTube accounts, media storage, bandwidth, team members, or available features. These limits are displayed on the pricing page and within your account settings.

Dubs.so may enforce these limits programmatically to protect the performance and availability of the platform for all users.

Accounts that appear to abuse the platform, circumvent limits, or place disproportionate load on infrastructure may be subject to plan upgrade requirements, throttling, or suspension.

Dubs.so aims to provide a reliable and continuously available service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or uptime.

Dubbing jobs may fail, be delayed, or be interrupted due to:

• Internet connectivity issues on your end
• YouTube API availability or rate limits
• Infrastructure outages or maintenance
• User configuration errors
• Third-party service failures
• Planned or emergency maintenance

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance. Dubs.so is not liable for revenue loss, delayed or failed dubbing jobs, or any harm arising from service interruptions.

Dubs.so integrates with or relies on third-party services including but not limited to Google, YouTube, payment processors, analytics providers, and hosting and infrastructure providers.

Dubs.so is not responsible for outages, policy changes, API restrictions, enforcement actions, or failures caused by third-party services. Your use of connected third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

Dubs.so may offer experimental or beta features from time to time. Beta features are provided "as is" with no guarantees of stability, continuity, or availability.

Beta features may change significantly, break, or be removed at any time without notice.

Dubs.so owns all rights to the platform, including its design, software, source code, branding, trademarks, domain names, and technology ("Dubs.so IP").

You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise misuse Dubs.so IP without our prior written consent.

These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in Dubs.so. Your licence to use the platform is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

• You breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable period
• You misuse or abuse the Dubs.so platform or its features
• Your activity creates a security risk or legal liability for Dubs.so
• You violate applicable laws or platform policies (including YouTube's policies)
• You upload, stream, or distribute infringing, illegal, or harmful content

You may close your account at any time via your account settings. Upon termination, your access to paid features ceases. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Dubs.so expressly disclaims any guarantee or representation that:

• Using Dubs.so will result in more views, subscribers, watch time, or channel growth
• YouTube will approve, rank, feature, monetize, or keep any dubbed video published
• Dubbed uploads will not trigger YouTube enforcement, demonetization, or strikes
• Any level of revenue or income will be achieved from using Dubs.so
• The platform will be available at all times without interruption

You are solely responsible for your channel strategy, your content decisions, the accuracy and suitability of translated output, your compliance with YouTube's policies, and any outcomes on your YouTube channels.

Dubs.so is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dubs.so and its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of revenue, profits, or income
• Loss of data, source videos, or dubbed output
• Lost business or missed opportunities
• YouTube account penalties, demonetization, or strikes
• Costs of procuring substitute services
• Reputational damage

In any case, Dubs.so's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Dubs.so in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dubs.so and its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your content, including any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property claims
• Your use or misuse of Dubs.so
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
• Your violation of YouTube's, Google's, or any other platform's policies
• Any third-party claims related to your videos, dubbed versions, or content

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia, for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Dubs.so.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email or via an in-app notification.

Continued use of Dubs.so after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
